Downloading and Troubleshooting Mobile Tickets
Downloading
Once the traveler has booked their M-ticket they need to use the following steps to download it.
- Have the most up to date Trainline APP on their phone
- Make sure they are not signed into the app
- View the confirmation email on their phone (trying to download from a linked device won't work)
- Click the download link in the confirmation email
This will download and store the ticket in the APP on their phone. They are able to download the ticket at any time after purchase and activate the ticket on the day of Travel.
Troubleshooting
If they traveler has used the above process can you but can't access the ticket please try the following;
- Resend the confirmation email to the customers private email in case their work email has disabled the link.
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the APP
If all the above steps don't fix the problem please raise a ticket to us including
- The operating system (Android or IOS)
- App version
- Booking reference and email
- Provide screen sots of what they are seeing when they try to download
